I was with Aiden we were walking through a nature area and we were in this small drainage or watershed area and it was showing him. The route of the water would flow if it were raining or snow melt and we follow this drainage down to its low point, I thought I was explaining to him what a Watershed was and where all the water would go. It was grassy with some trees. We had a nice chat about it. What I remember as he was listening and interested. I don’t know where we were. It looked more like Germany than here in Montana Then Aiden and Elizabeth and I were having lunch together. We were sitting at the end of the table, Aiden and Elizabeth were sitting next to each other to my right. He was probably 10 or 12 years old. His voice still sounded like a young boy. Although he is 15 now he and Elizabeth are having a nice animated conversation. I don’t remember what it was about but I remember feeling like I was the observer the outsider and thinking that of course Aiden should live with Elizabeth because he wasn’t that interested in me. I felt like the observer of their connection and interaction and perhaps I was even unseen there. I’m not sure. But I felt like I didn’t deserve to live with Aiden or be with Aiden and I felt jealous and sad.
